The regional theatre of Lapland stages plays and shows on its main stage and in Kero, a smaller attic stage. The programme includes children's theatre, also for very young children, and a regional tour takes productions to other parts of Lapland. Besides theatre, the building hosts concerts, club nights and other cultural events. The theatre takes part in the annual Men's Week theme week.
The Lappia-talo premises can be rented for fairs, weddings, exhibitions and conferences. The theatre shop sells Finnish design, cards, books, art, jewellery, clothing and accessories. The second-floor restaurant has an Alvar Aalto-themed interior and serves buffet lunches and themed dinners. Tickets and the performance calendar are on the website. The venue is accessible, with a hearing loop, seating, parking, entrance and toilet.
