The marked winter walking trail follows the hill's rocky western slope. The circular route and connecting trails total around six kilometres. Information boards, two lean-to shelters and an observation tower stand along it, with views of the centre and River Kemijoki.
The route is groomed by snowmobile for walkers at the start of winter. It partly shares a path with a nature trail, but the markings differ. It is open year-round. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible, and there is no accessible car park.
