Part of the Diocese of Oulu, this parish became independent in 1785. Activities include worship, groups for children, young people and families, music and Bible study. It publishes Pääsky magazine and an email newsletter and produces Radio RovaDei broadcasts.
The parish's diaconal service provides guidance and counselling. Venue hire and services relating to weddings, burials and the crematorium are available. Website information is provided in Finnish and English. The entrance, car park and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
