This traditional, warm-spirited family restaurant serves Lapland specialities and Finnish cuisine. Dishes are prepared from scratch in-house using clean Lapland and Finnish ingredients, and the menu often features fish from Lapland lakes, game, berries and mushrooms. The menu changes with the ingredients of each season. The kitchen is partly visible to guests through open hatches, and the interior uses Lapland craftsmanship and natural materials such as lichen board, dead wood, reindeer antler and reindeer hide.
There are three spaces: a main dining room for about 65, the reindeer-themed Porokammi for about 20, and Nili Nest across the street for about 70. The restaurant is near hotels and safari companies in the city centre. Tables can be booked on the website. Accessible seating, entrance and toilet are available.
