The municipal lower secondary school has about 300 pupils in grades 7 to 9 and around 50 staff. Its building was renovated and extended in 2022. The school participates in the KiVa anti-bullying programme.
Studies are organised into three periods. Every pupil has a personal device, and digital learning environments are used. Nearby are forest trails and facilities for athletics, football, Finnish baseball and beach volleyball. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
