The birdwatching association organises species-recording competitions including Tammikisa, Satakunta Open, Ekopinnat and Pihapinnat. It co-organises the Pyhäjärviralli bird race with other bird and conservation associations. A digitised excursion photo archive dates from 1958, and a 60th anniversary book covers birds and birdwatchers.
Membership is open to interested people. The Tiira observation service lets users keep a personal bird diary and browse sightings. Bird-themed merchandise sold online supports the association and local nature conservation.
