Founded in 1992, this regional umbrella association represents over 300 villages in Pirkanmaa. It connects village communities, shares information and belongs to the national organisation Suomen Kylät ry. Its work promotes sustainable development in village activities.
Village communities can obtain advice and assistance and attend training and themed days. The association maintains a village register and information materials. Membership is open to registered village associations in the region and individuals interested in village activities. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
