This day-care centre belongs to the Touhula chain of private early childhood education, which has 39 units across Finland. Each unit follows its own theme, such as sports, adventure or nature. Children can start from about 10 months of age, and there are rest arrangements for children aged 1 to 5, including Torkkula and Virkkula.
Communication between the centre and families runs through the TouGo app, which is used for photos and weekly letters, booking care times and reporting absences. Applications can be submitted on the website, and places can often be confirmed quickly. Each family signs a service agreement before care starts, and guided visits for prospective families can be arranged. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
