This cultural and art venue occupies a former library completed in 1964, designed by Kaisa Harjanne and Maija Suurla. It stands on a historic hill less than half a kilometre from Olavinlinna Castle and the market square. Two associations run it under an agreement with the city.
Exhibition, event and meeting spaces, studios and storage rooms are available to rent. Exhibition slots last four weeks including setup and dismantling. Concerts, lectures and discussions can be held during exhibitions. Organisers must arrange their own insurance.
