Founded in 1972, the diving club runs year-round training and courses. Winter practice uses a dedicated swimming pool slot, and the Norppa youth section serves ages 7 to 15. The club owns three air compressors and the roughly 15-metre steel support vessel M/S Kavassi.
Scuba try-outs and trips in Finland and abroad are offered. The club works with nearby diving clubs. There is no accessible seating or accessible toilet.
