Run by a South Ostrobothnian craft association active since 1907, this centre promotes craft culture and skills. The association organises courses, workshops and basic arts education for children and adults and operates the Näppi craft and design school. It also runs summer camps and workplace wellbeing craft sessions.
The association's shop in the Kalevan Navetta arts and culture centre sells craft kits, gifts, regional products, materials and instructions. Its online shop also carries its own products and national costume supplies. Courses include non-stop sessions, with a craft-card option available.
