Founded in 1990, the member-owned cooperative provides water and wastewater services for Kumpunen, Räimä and Ylälehto. Around 250 properties connect to its roughly 50 km network. Drinking water is groundwater from the municipal supply, while wastewater is pumped through a pressure sewer to the Jynkänniemi treatment plant.
The cooperative operates on a non-profit basis. Members hold the highest decision-making power at the spring annual meeting and elect the board. Sewer construction began in 2005, with the Ylälehto area completed in 2009.
