Founded in 1993, the artists' association is based at Artborg 35, which houses an art lending service, the artist-run multidisciplinary Pesula Gallery, K17 spaces and artists' studios. The gallery opened in a former hospital laundry in 2019.
Activities include exhibitions, public events and courses in painting, printmaking and ceramics, with workshops for groups. Art can also be borrowed at Söderkulla library. The association belongs to national visual arts and art lending networks.
