This local business association promotes the area's shops, services and products. Its business label requires majority ownership by local residents and a registered office in the same locality. Product certification requires at least 60 per cent local origin; examples include jewellery, linen scarves and handmade soaps.
A shared gift card is accepted by all member businesses and comes in paper and electronic forms. The association organises events for consumers and members and publishes a Christmas newsletter distributed with the Sompio newspaper. Membership is open to local businesses.
