Founded in 1962, the fishing club belongs to the South Savo recreational angling district. It organises fishing trips, events, competitions and youth activities, including angling, ice-fishing and rowing-based trolling competitions.
Anyone interested in fishing can join, and members live across Finland. Membership includes the national recreational angling federation and its magazine. Competition results are published on the website.
