Part of the Finnish Wildlife Agency's Kainuu region, the local game management association covers an area with 55 hunting clubs. Its territory spans about 587,900 hectares, including around 60,200 hectares of water. About 55 per cent of the land is state-owned and 45 per cent privately owned. The entire area lies within the reindeer herding region and is home to all large predator species found in Finland.
The association organises dog trials with venue bookings. Its operations manager is the contact person.
