This automatic car wash in Tampere is the first the chain designed entirely in-house. A wash takes under four minutes and includes Ceramic Shield wax. The detergents are biodegradable, the site says up to 70% less is used than in a typical wash, and about 90% of the wash water is reclaimed.
Staff are on site at all times, and the payment posts stand in front of the wash bays; cards and mobile payments are accepted. A monthly membership gives unlimited washes and is managed through an online account. Vehicles can be up to 240 cm high and wide, with at least 8 cm of ground clearance. A visit usually takes about five minutes, and there is no toilet.
