On the 25th floor of the Solo Sokos Hotel Torni in Tampere, 88 metres up, this cocktail lounge looks out over the Pyhäjärvi, Näsijärvi and Iidesjärvi lakes all the way to Hervanta. It pays tribute to the city's Olympic medallists: their photos line the Wall of Heroes, and the Hero's Toast is served only on each medallist's birthday.
A lift goes straight up from the hotel lobby, and the venue is wheelchair accessible. Tables cannot be reserved. There is no age limit before 6 pm, and after that minors are welcome with a parent. Once last call is signalled, the lifts no longer take guests up. A soup lunch is served from Tuesday to Saturday, and there is seating on the rooftop terrace.
