The roots of this family-owned Tampere funeral home go back to 1951 and its founder Marjatta Huhto, and Olavi Moisio started his funeral business in December 1963. Kalevi and Aila Alanen took over in August 1989 and ran it until they retired in 2019; today it is run by the Jokiranta family: Anne and Pekka, and Pirita and Jussi.
Services include funeral arrangements, estate inventories, a family service that gathers funeral information together, and transport from care facilities, with on-call service at weekends. Coffins are made of wood and suit both burial and cremation. Appointments can be booked online, and parking at the P-Hämppi car park is paid by the funeral home after the meeting.
