This self-service library of Tampere University is on the first floor of the Arvo building. It holds course books and journals in medicine, biomedicine and health sciences, as well as printed books for medical specialist training.
University community members have 24-hour access with an access card, which also opens the computer room and the quiet reading room. The group rooms Simo and Timo each have a computer and seat 2–6 people; on weekdays they can be booked through Resource Booker for up to two hours at a time, and otherwise used without booking. Loans are made at self-service machines, reserved items are collected from a self-service shelf, and the entrance is wheelchair accessible.
