This hiking and nature conservation area in Tampere has about 17 km of waymarked trails forming several alternative loops. Four of its six campfire sites have a lean-to shelter designed to blend into the landscape, with a woodshed and an outdoor toilet. Kirkkokivi lies about 300 metres from the Kivituhkapolku trail.
An accessible route starts from the P1 car park. There is a public toilet, some trails are suitable for children, and you can bring a picnic. Trail details are on Luontoon.fi, the outdoor service run by Metsähallitus.
