This subsidiary of the City of Tampere rents out homes in older wooden-house areas as well as city-centre blocks, ranging from small studios to larger family apartments, with an emphasis on sustainability and location. It also handles property maintenance, and residents have access to resident activities, a residents' magazine, a scholarship and AsumisPLUS insurance.
Vacant homes are listed on the Löydä koti ('Find a home') search site, and applications are made online. Residents handle payments, personal details and fault reports in an online service. Customer service at the Asuntotori office is by appointment only, and the entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
