Standing on Keskustori, Tampere's Central Square, the Old Church is run by the city's Lutheran parish union, with some events organised by the Cathedral parish and Harju parish. Services are held on Fridays, and every Sunday there is an ICCK service with Sunday school for children. Confirmation classes for adults are also held here.
On Tuesdays and Fridays people gather for coffee and conversation. The entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible, and there is accessible parking. Events are announced on the parish's Facebook and Instagram, and the website is in Finnish, Swedish and English.
