The boating and navigation club teaches sailing and seamanship, including archipelago and coastal boating courses. Training uses materials from Navigoinnin opettajat ry and a simulator. Specialist courses in safe water recreation are also offered.
Full membership requires a minimum age of fifteen and a maritime examination accepted by the club; course enrolment provides a route to student membership. Members can use huts, moorings, boat inspections and youth activities. Event rooms on Pajasaari island accommodate about a hundred people. The office entrance and parking are not wheelchair accessible.
