A traditional Tampere bakery, founded in 1980 by Reijo Alander, Tapio Simola and Elvi Kallio, who had all worked at Jussilan Leipomo, then the city's oldest. Breads, buns, savoury and sweet pastries, cakes and confectionery are made by hand, all on the same morning.
The bakery has a café and shop with a nostalgic atmosphere. Cakes are ordered online through kakkupiste.fi by choosing the cake and the pickup place and time, and catering for meetings and parties is pre-ordered as packaged goods for pickup. The products are also sold in several shops across Pirkanmaa. Parking is free, the car park and toilet are accessible, and a visit usually takes about 10 minutes.
