This hiking and nature conservation area lies about 20 km northeast of central Tampere and is open to everyone. It has trails, duckboards, lean-to shelters and signposts, and it was named Nature Site of the Year in 2020.
For stays of several days, you can rent the Kortejärvi farm or the Kintulammi lodge. Both cabins are booked online through a rental service, and for rental questions you can call, text or send a WhatsApp message. A step-free route leads to the Kirkkokivi lean-to.
