Two stone cairns stand on bare rock about 30 metres from the shore. The larger measures roughly seven metres across and half a metre high and is interpreted as a grave for two or three people. Charcoal dating places it between AD 708 and 883. Excavation in 1999 revealed about four stone layers, including stones over a metre across. Treasure hunters had previously damaged the upper layers.
A marked path runs about 300 metres from Venepuisto boat park over partly difficult terrain. Signs support independent visits. Volunteers in the Adopt a Monument programme maintain the restored cairns by clearing vegetation. Neither the entrance nor parking is wheelchair accessible.
