This Tampere optician is on the second floor of the Ratina shopping centre. Eye tests check distance and near vision and eye pressure and determine your glasses prescription, and a fuller eye health examination includes an OCT retinal scan without eye drops. Two ophthalmologists see patients here, and the shop fits contact lenses, sells sunglasses and repairs glasses.
Appointments can be booked online. Children under five are examined by a specialist, so call to check availability. Work vision tests require an occupational health referral. Contact lenses can be tried before buying. Access is step-free, parking is in the shopping centre, and public transport is about two minutes away.
