This adventure-themed day-care centre in Tampere is part of an early childhood education chain and combines the joy of movement, adventure and nature education with a focus on sustainability. The grounds have a campfire spot, a play cabin and a small forest, and all groups go on weekly outings nearby, for example to the Näsijärvi shore and the Suomensaari trails.
Children are in eight small groups, and days include nature adventures, creative and musical activities and motor-skill practice. Parents get photos and updates through the chain's TouGo app. Applications go through a non-binding online form, and the director usually replies within a week. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
