This self-service laundromat in Tampere is in the Turtola shopping centre and is open around the clock. As well as everyday laundry, you can wash and dry bedding, large home textiles and rugs. A flat-bed machine handles hard-backed rugs, and there are separate programmes for down pillows and down jackets.
No booking is needed: just use any free machine. Choose a programme and pay by card; instructions are posted by the machines. Fragrance-free detergent is included and dosed automatically. Dryers take about 30 minutes, and rugs can dry for up to 24 hours in lockable drying cabinets. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible, and you can do your grocery shopping on the same trip.
