The pub is said to have been founded in 1964 and to be one of Finland's oldest. Beer is the focus, domestic and foreign: about 20 draft taps mix classics with rotating products, and the bottle selection is wide. Cider and lonkero fans are catered for too, and food is served alongside the drinks.
There is a weekly programme: a quiz every Sunday at 18:00, bingo every other Tuesday at 18:00, and monthly Tuopin Kulttuurikeskiviikot cultural evenings with guest speakers from theatre and film. The pub is active on Instagram and Facebook. Accessible seating is available, but the entrance, toilet and parking are not wheelchair accessible, and there is no hearing loop.
