Run by Rengastajat Oy, this Tampere tyre service changes tyres either at the customer's home or in its own workshop. Home visits cover Tampere and nearby areas, and the technicians bring their own tools. It handles cars, city SUVs, microcars and vans up to 2 metres high, and electric car tyres are changed by technicians with SFS 6002 training.
Each change includes adjusting tyre pressures, measuring tread depth and checking both sets of tyres. At the workshop a change takes about 20 minutes, and visits are by appointment only. Tyres can be stored in a locked, camera-monitored tyre hotel, and cards and contactless payments are accepted.
