This hospital in Tampere became part of Tampere University Hospital at the start of 2018. It focuses on non-urgent specialist care, surgery requiring inpatient care, and day surgery. The main building houses surgery, internal medicine, infectious diseases and general medicine, while the Puistosairaala building is home to neurology and geriatrics. Outpatient clinics cover many specialties, including orthopaedics, plastic surgery, neurology, ENT, cardiology and obesity treatment.
On site there are laboratory and X-ray services and a maternity outpatient clinic, and the eye centre provides vision rehabilitation here. The entrance and parking area are wheelchair accessible.
