This private-hire sauna in Tampere is in a building designed by Herbert Holmberg and completed in 1936, protected by the Finnish Heritage Agency. The building served as an aircraft hangar, first for the Finnish Defence Forces and later for Valmet Oy until 1982. A two-storey shower and sauna area opens straight onto a terrace, and the space suits about ten people. WiFi and a widescreen TV are provided.
No food is served on site, but meals and takeaway can be ordered from the Härlemi restaurant in the same building. There is no alcohol licence, so guests may bring their own drinks. Online booking is possible more than three days ahead, and quotes are available by phone, email or form.
