This department store opened in Tampere in 1957 and is the second-oldest Stockmann in Finland. A corner extension, linked to the original building by an underground tunnel, opened in 1965, the store moved to its current site in 1981, and an expansion begun in 2012 added about 4,000 m². Its floors cover fashion, sports, home, cosmetics and food.
The full-service K-Supermarket Hämeenkatu is on floor K1. Services include styling and beauty advice, gift cards, and delivery and export. Relove runs a second-hand shop and café, and textiles can be dropped off for recycling. The store is accessible and parking is paid.
