This office is part of the Finnish Criminal Sanctions Agency and belongs to the Häme and Pirkanmaa probation service. It handles community sanctions in its catchment area and runs a duty line for community service. The area covers 23 municipalities, including Nokia, Kangasala, Valkeakoski and Ylöjärvi. The office has about 25 staff and was established in 1955.
It is located near the railway station. There is no wheelchair accessible parking area.
