This Tampere paragliding club takes people flying over Lake Näsijärvi near Särkänniemi amusement park: a boat tows the glider up to about 700 metres before the tow line is released. The introductory course takes about an hour and includes a flight with guidance, and tandem flights are offered alongside it. Pilot training follows the Finnish Aeronautical Association programme and leads to a licence valid worldwide.
Flights are booked online through a flight calendar, and introductory course gift cards are sold in the online shop. Last-minute flights are announced in a WhatsApp group about two days ahead, depending on the weather. There is free parking and a toilet on site.
