Run by Ahjola, this family meeting place offers shared activities, games and crafts. Peer support is central, and staff advise on parenting and family services. It welcomes families with children of roughly primary-school age and younger.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, and advance registration is requested. An evening takes about 25 participants, with a snack provided. Activities are substance-free and have no religious or political affiliation. On even weeks, older volunteers cook a warm meal with families. Volunteers are welcome without special skills.
