The subject association represents class teacher education students in study matters and within their faculty, and organises events and activities for members. Its history began with the Hämeenlinna seminary student association in 1919.
A board is elected for one year at the autumn meeting, with any member eligible to stand. Harassment, discrimination and bullying can be reported through a form, either anonymously or by name. Activities have also included interest groups and cultural and film clubs.
