This student association brings together students of information studies, media studies and game studies at the university. It was founded in 1968 and first registered as an association in 1974. It promotes its members' interests and organises activities throughout the year, both serious and lighthearted, to make the field visible.
Members can take part in events and, if they wish, join the board, which usually meets once a month. Meeting minutes and documents are kept in an archive. The association publishes the student magazine Asiasana and weekly newsletters, communicates in Finnish and English, and is active on Instagram. Cooperation and sponsorship with outside parties are possible when both sides benefit.
Are you a member or have you joined its events? Share your experience in the comments for other students.
