This Tampere association supports people with memory disorders and their families, develops services and trains professionals in the field. It covers the Pirkanmaa region and Huittinen in Satakunta. Services include memory assessments, a memory disorder risk test, counselling, group activities, psychotherapy, legal advice and telephone consultations with a doctor.
Memory cafés and groups meet in many municipalities from Akaa to Ylöjärvi, and public lectures can be followed on site or online. Anyone interested can join as a member or volunteer as a support person, and members get the magazine Pirkanmaan Pääasiat. The office is in Tulli Business Park and has a step-free entrance.
