Founded in 1988, the non-profit association supports and advocates for people experiencing involuntary childlessness and families formed through donor conception. It shares information through its website, online lectures, leaflets, magazine and podcast, covering topics such as men's experiences and pregnancy loss.
Open peer support is available in person and online. Membership includes people trying for a child, those who have had a child, permanently childless people and people without hoped-for grandchildren. A dedicated peer group, Sydänsimpukat, supports the latter. The association also advocates for better care pathways after pregnancy loss.
If you have taken part in peer support, share your experience on Suomi Guide to help others seeking support.
