Founded in 1919, the swimming club offers competitive and recreational swimming and swimming schools for babies, children, young people, adults and special groups. Masters swimmers are also involved. The club has cared for Rauhaniemi public baths since they opened in 1929.
Training is concentrated at the swimming centre. Families can participate, and there are volunteering and coaching opportunities. The club also organises memorial swimming races and an open-water swim around Viikinsaari island.
