This association for people with MS or rare neurological diseases and their relatives belongs to Neuroliitto, the national neurological association. It has 12 peer groups in Pirkanmaa, including two for rare diseases, and organises member evenings, exercise and leisure activities.
Trained peer supporters offer confidential phone conversations, anonymously if preferred. Membership is applied for using a Neuroliitto form; supporting membership is also available. Members receive Avain magazine and a newsletter. The website has an MS service map and information on access to rehabilitation and treatment. The entrance and parking are accessible.
