This public sauna in Tampere stands at the tip of a headland in an outdoor recreation area and is run by the Lielahden Kipinä association. You can take a sauna and swim in the lake in both summer and winter, when swimmers use an ice hole. Men and women have separate changing and washing rooms, and the sauna is shared.
Sessions last up to 90 minutes. There is only lake water, so bring your own drinking water. Swimwear is required in the sauna, cooling area and ice hole, and in winter bring swim slippers, as the path is sanded. Payment is by card only, including Edenred and Epassi. The sauna and cabin can be hired for private events by phone or text message.
