This small Turku shop sets out to showcase African culture through its products and food. It sells African snacks, drinks, clothing and handmade crafts, plus fresh produce such as cocoyams, okra, coconuts, avocados and garden eggs (small African aubergines). Palm oil, palm soup bases and spices, grains and tubers that are often hard to find in ordinary supermarkets are also stocked.
Online orders can be collected free within 2–4 hours. In the Turku area fresh produce is delivered to the door on Saturdays, and orders elsewhere in Finland are shipped in temperature-controlled packaging. A visit usually takes from 10 minutes to an hour and a half.
