The contemporary arts producer and venue programmes dance and performance art, festivals, exhibitions, discussions, weekly classes and residencies. Artist-led activities also include a contemporary dance group. The organisation received Finland's state prize for multidisciplinary arts in 2024.
Studios can be rented for rehearsals and productions. Treenitila sessions are led in Finnish and English, and safer space principles apply. The building has stairs and no accessible toilet, so the premises are not fully wheelchair accessible.
