Operating since 1983, the children's and young people's centre specialises in physiotherapy and occupational therapy. Physiotherapy covers motor development, neurological rehabilitation and musculoskeletal concerns. Occupational therapy works on everyday skills, play, hand skills, concentration and interaction.
Goals are agreed with the child or young person and family. Sessions can take place at the centre, at home, in daycare, school or a swimming pool. Therapists hold agreements with Kela and the Southwest Finland wellbeing services county. Services are offered in Finnish, Swedish and English, with support signs. The entrance and toilet are accessible.
