This Turku practice is run by a maternity physiotherapist and sees clients at the Kehon kutsu premises. After childbirth, treatment can focus on the pelvic floor, abdominal separation (diastasis recti), scars, breathing and posture, and a 90-minute physiotherapy postnatal check complements the check-up at the neuvola (maternity clinic). Pelvic floor physiotherapy is open to anyone, whether or not they have given birth. Assessment uses ultrasound and an EMG device.
Appointments can be booked online, by phone or by email. Babies are welcome to come along, and the practice is at street level, so prams fit inside. Cards and mobile payments are accepted.
