This Turku social and health centre is run by Varha, the Southwest Finland wellbeing services county. Services include health checks for working-age, unemployed and immigrant clients, conscription health checks, diabetes care, prescription renewals and vaccinations, and children's ear infections are treated without an appointment. There is a separate Swedish-language service.
A nurse assesses each patient's needs and arranges an appointment when needed. People with hearing or speech impairments can use a text message service, and a nurse answers in the Varha app chat. Appointments can be cancelled by phone up to the previous weekday. Parking, the entrance and the toilet are accessible.
